Umar has spent most of his life in Placer where he continues to be an active member in the community. Always looking for a way to give back to the community, you may find Umar volunteering in his free time at Kaiser, assisting elderly patients around the facility and getting them to their appointments.
A graduate of Sacramento State University, Umar has been with Placer Family Dentist since we opened our dental practice, serving as our office manager. He enjoys working with patients like you when they come into the office. “The part of my job that I most enjoy is talking with our patients, understanding their concerns, alleviating their anxiety, and structuring a treatment plan to solve their dental needs.” With years of experience working with many dental insurance plans, he easily guides patients through the costs associated with their treatment plan. “The most common questions I get from our patients are ‘what will my dental insurance cover?’ and ‘how much will this cost me?’ My goal is to clearly explain their benefits, costs, and financing options available to them. I enjoy providing our patients with affordable options to improve their dental health and smile.”
In his free time, Umar enjoys spending time outdoors with his three children. “We love to stay active, whether we are playing basketball or getting out in nature to fish and camp.” If there is a grill around you will likely find Umar at the helm, serving up his specialties of smoked or barbequed ribs and salmon.
